Mike Brittain has been performing taxidermy for local customers in Hickory NC area  since the age of 18 and has developed a reputation for performing some of the best taxidermy available.     Mike has been a member of the North Carolina Taxidermy Association for  many  years,  having attended and successfully competed in their  taxidermy competitions.  Mike won his first award in 1992 and is still active today.

One of the more unique items mike has had to mount is the pictured alligator.   This South Carolina alligator was take by two local people  from the Santee Cooper chain of lakes.  The gator weighed appox. 1000 pounds and was 13 feet long.

Mike loves to hunt and fish and knows what your trophy means to you and will put forth every effort to ensure your trophy is there for you to enjoy for many years.
